TV Sponsorship

Program sponsorship is fast becoming the chosen route for many brands wishing to generate an immediate impact. It is a relitively new platform for advertisers and very cost effective when compared to airtime costs for commercials. This makes it a perfect platform for many smaller brands as they can communicate and connect with their target audience, on a regular basis.

Sponsorship has been shown to have a significant effect on the viewer, with its power being generated through a brand’s association to the programme as well as its ability to communicate messages via the sponsorship bumper. For fans of the sponsored programme, the effects are profound with fame, ‘for me-ness’ brand favourability and purchase intention being raised as the viewer’s relationship with the programme content becomes stronger.
